Remove the expansion card from the expansion card riser
The procedure to remove the expansion card from the riser is identical for all risers.
This procedure should also be used when removing a NIC from a PCIe slot.
Before you begin
Follow all safety guidelines.
Note
The parent hardware offers a variety of risers so the images below may not reflect
what is in this VxFlex solution.
Procedure
1. Open the black expansion card latch on the riser.
2. Open the blue card holder latch on the riser.
3. Hold the expansion card by its edges, and pull the card until the card edge
connector disengages from the connector on the riser.
