Image Network
Some applications use the optional AccuVision
®
VisionCapture™ Image
Capture System to gather and store images. If your application utilizes the
this system with an Image Depot Server (IDS), you will need to setup the
Image Network screen.
Prerequisites:
You will need to know the following:
Imaging system networking requirements
Transfer criteria
Destination IP
(Standard ASI IDS IP 10.0.40.19)
Image Transmit Point
NOTE:
While each camera may have separate
transmit points,
the
Image Transfer transmit point is globally used by all cameras in the
system.
It is recommended that the Image Transfer transmit point be set at least
5-inches [12.7 cm] shorter than the longest camera transmit point.
To set the Image Network:
1. Select
Setup > Communications > (Camera) > Image Network
from
the menu tree. The Image Network window is displayed.
2. IP Address Assignment
a. Choose between Static IP and Dynamic IP.

Static Network Settings
a. Set IP Address. In multi-camera systems, each camera has a unique
IP. The VisionCapture/IDS IP assignments for AV6010 are as follows:
Camera Position IP Address

Top Read 10.0.40.21
Front Read 10.0.40.24
Left-Side Read 10.0.40.22
Back Read 10.0.40.25
Right-Side Read 10.0.40.23
Bottom Read 10.0.40.26
NOTE: No settings required for Dynamic IP Address Assignment

Image Transfer
(Global to all cameras)
a. Image Transfer Criteria
b. Image Destination IP
c. Maximum Transmit Point
d. Image Cropping
e. Downsampling
f. Save Every xx image(s)
5. Click
Update
to save any changes or
Reset
to return all parameters to
the last values saved.
