Proceed with the motor

calibration as specified in the

product Operation and

maintenance manual.

Is the motor a Dana

TM4 motor ?

Does the same SysFile

ID occur again?

Defective motor.

Replace motor.

Complete.

Is the Motor compatible

with the MCU software

version?

Plug in a

compatible motor

to the MCU. The

list of compatible

motors can be

found on the Dana

TM4 extranet

under your system.

Yes

Does the same

SysFile ID occur

again?

Yes

Refer to the Dana TM4

Product installation guide for

more details on installation

and deinstallation procedure

including safety warning

considerations.

Check that the motor

sensor cable is well inserted

and the locking mechanism

is engaged on the motor

and on the MCU.

Turn ignition OFF.

Wait for 10 minutes

before taking any

further action.

Disconnect all the

connectors

located on the

motor.

Turn ignition ON.

Yes

Open ODIN, and check the

status bar to see which

software version is running.

Turn ignition ON.

Connect to the Dana TM4

extranet.

Access to your system and

open all MCU, MOTOR and

SOFTWARE subfolders under

your system.

Connect to the MCU with ODIN to

check the SysFile.

Turn ignition

ON.

Wait for 10

minutes before

taking any further

action.

Connect to the MCU

with ODIN to check

the SysFile.

Switch OFF the

auxiliary

batteries switch.
