The DIP switch is used to configure the system. For more information, see

"9.4 Configuration – LAN adapter"

▪

When the LAN adapter performs a Smart Grid compatibility check, LD4 flashes.
This is NOT erroneous behaviour. After a successful check, LD4 will either stay ON
or go OFF. When it keeps flashing for more than 30 minutes, the compatibility
check failed, and NO Smart Grid operation is possible.
