5.5 Checking the paper sensors position
The position for setting the paper sensors differs according to the paper to use.
You must conigure the parameters “Paper form”, “Cut type” and “Gap length” (see
paragraph 7.1 ) during the printer driver
or operation panel coniguration procedure (see
paragraph 7.2 ) and set the correct value of this parameters as described
in the following table.
The setting of printer driver is prioritized.

The following paragraphs show how to correctly set the sensors position in order to assure the alignment.
To adjust the paper sensors position see
paragraph 5.6 .
If paper jams or paper mark detection errors occur frequently, follow the procedure below to perform sensor calibration
(see
paragraph 6.8 or paragraph 9.6 ).

Top sensor: Position of black mark
Bottom sensor: Position that does not overlap with the top sensor. Be sure bottom sensor, that detects the paper presence,
is positioned within the paper width.
