Importing a Certiicate and Private Key
This section describes how to import a certiicate and private
key using the Web Page.
A certiicate and private key that have been issued can be
imported in order to use a certiicate issued by an external
certiicate authority.
Proceed as follows:
• Open the Web Page of this device (see paragraph 12.1 ).
• Log in as the administrator (see paragraph 12.2 ).
• Select “Admin Setup”.
• Select “Network” > “Security” > “SSL/TLS”.
• Select “Using Certificate and Private Key after imported”
and import the certificate.
Enabling Encryption
Encryption can be enabled after creating a certiicate. This
section describes how to enable encryption using the Web
Page.
When encryption is enabled, the communication is im-
mediately encrypted after the setting is changed from the
Web Page.
Proceed as follows:
• Open the Web Page of this device (see paragraph 12.1 ).
• Log in as the administrator (see paragraph 12.2 ).
• Select “Admin Setup”.
• Select “Network” > “Security” > “SSL/TLS”.
• Select “Enabled” for the protocol to encrypt.
• Click SUBMIT.
