CAUSE

REMEDY

The image drum is not set correctly.

Set the image drum correctly.

The image drum is dirty.

Enable drum cleaning (see

paragraph 7.1

). The lifetime of the image drum is

shorter when this is set to ON.

The image drum is dirty.

Replace the image drum.
