9.21 Saving the documents to
print as iles in the form
format
You can save the documents to print as iles in the form
format. Proceed as follows:
• Create the forms to register to the printer in an applica-
tion.
• Select “Print” from the “File” menu.
• Click PREFERENCES.
•
Select “Save the printed document as a form in a ile”
from the pull-down menu on the “Overlays” tab.
• Click USE and select the destination.
• Click OK.
•
Conigure the settings as required and click OK.
• Click PRINT on the “Print” screen.
• In “Save the form with a name” enter “ID” and click OK.
• Click OK.
9.22 Printing hidden text
You can overlay user-deined text over iles to print. Proceed
as follows:
•
Open the ile to print.
• Select “Print” from the “File” menu.
• Click PREFERENCES.
• Click WATERMARK on the “Extend” tab.
• Click NEW.
• Enter the characters to print in “Text” on the “Watermark”
screen.

Conigure “Font”, “Size” and the other settings as re
-
quired and click OK.
•
Conirm that the watermark to print is selected and
click OK.
•
Conigure the settings as required and click OK.
• Click PRINT on the “Print” screen.
