Exporting a Certiicate
This section describes how to export a certiicate using the
Web Page.
The computer may request the certiicate of the device,
depending on the function performing communication via
SSL/TLS.
In order to enable the computer to request the certiicate of
the device, import the certiicate of the device that has been
exported to the certiicate store of the computer.
Proceed as follows:
• Open the Web Page of this device (see paragraph 12.1 ).
• Log in as the administrator (see paragraph 12.2 ).
• Select “Admin Setup”.
• Select “Network” > “Security” > “SSL/TLS”.
• Select “Export Certificate” to export the certificate. The
certificate is exported in the PEM format.
12.4 Using IPP
The device can be added to a computer as an IPP device.
When IPP printing is enabled, data can be sent to the device
via Internet.
To add the device as an IPP printer, proceed as follows:
• Click START and select “Devices and Printers” > “Add
a Printer”.
• Select “Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer” in
the “Add a Printer” wizard.
• Select “The printer is not in the list” in the list of avail-
able printers.
• Select “Select the shared printer by name”.
• Enter “http://(the IP address of this device)/ipp” or “http://
(the IP address of this device)/ipp/Ip” and click NEXT.
• Click HAVE DISK.
• Click BROWSE.
• Specify the folder where the printer drivers are con-
tained.
•
Enter the following value in “Copy manufacturer’s files
from” and click USE.
• Select the INF file and click OPEN.
• Click OK.
• Select the model and click OK.
• Click NEXT.
• Click COMPLETE.
• When installation is complete print a test page.
