Complete the task by clicking on the “

Send Configuration

” command button. This sends the new 

configuration to the SP4-TZC. Notice that the “Zone Controller Successfully Programmed” 
message appears on the computer screen, and that the USB CONFIG

 

LED indicator on the SP4-

TZC PC board turns 

ON

. If an Error message appears, refer to Section 5.6 for details and 

corrective action. 
 
Click the 

OK

 button on the “Zone Controller Successfully Programmed” message. 

 
 

Test the Maximum Paging Duration. 
 
Shut down the SP4 Telzone Programmer 2 software on the host computer. 
 

 

 

Disconnect the USB cable from the SP4-TZC Zone Controller and the host computer. 

 

3.10 Uninstalling the SP4 Telzone Programmer 2 Software 

NOTE:

   Make sure that the SP4 Telzone Programmer 2 software is not running on the host computer and that 

the USB cable has been disconnected from the SP4-TZC and the host computer. 

 

On the Windows screen click on Start?  Settings?  Control Panel?  Add/Remove Programs. 

 

Remove the SP4 Telzone Programmer 2 software.  

 

    
     NOTE

:    Older versions of the SP4 Telzone Programmer software installed on the same host computer as 

newer versions of the software, may utilize the same USB Driver (FTDI FTD2XX) to communicate 
between the host computer and the SP4-TZC. 

 

 

Remove the USB Driver (FTDI FTD2XX). 

 

 

 
 
 
 

This completes the un-installation process.
