   TR-CONTROL II Touch Special Features

The TR-CONTROL II Touch allows access to various functions (if programmed) by just
pressing the

key whilst in the main menu screen (such as circulation button, party

button and extra comfort).  These special functions can be found by pressing either the

 /

keys and then the

.

You can turn on or off the function by pressing the + or

– keys and then pressing the

key.   If you turn one of the functions off, you are

asked ‘disable function really?’ by pressing   the feature is turned off.

5.16.1

Circulation Button

The circulation pump can be activated on demand via the TR-CONTROL II Touch, by
pressing the

key when in the main menu screen. To change the pump from off to On,

use the + or – keys and then confirm with the   key.    The circulation pump will run for
the allocated time (set Hot Water – Circulation Run Time).
This function is only possible if in Variants the circulation function is activated.

When the circulation pump run time has expired, it is locked for about 20 minutes. Re-
activation during this time is not possible.  The display will show ‘Circulation Locked’
(gesperrt).

5.16.2

DHW Heating Extra Comfort Temperature

The DHW set-point temperature can be raised for a set period to an Extra Comfort
DHW Temperature level (within Set Hot Water function). If this function has been turned
on, then the hot water will be delivery at the raised temperature.  If the store top
temperature cannot provide the required extra comfort temperature, the controller will
bring on the back up heating to raise the store top temperature.  After the extra confort
temperature is reached the display will show Comfort at 65

o

C (or temperature chosen).

When the temperature has been reached a re-activation is not possible until the
temperature in the store top has fallen below the DHW heating Extra Comfort
Temperature (2K hysteresis).
This function can make a significant contribution to energy saving during off-peak
periods, where the reheating temperature can be set lower.
Even during the off-times the extra comfort temperature switch can still operate.

5.16.3

Ventilation

The heating circuit can be switched off briefly, when ventilation the house (ie by
opening the windows on a daily basis).  When in the main menu, press the   and then

until Ventilation is shown, then press + to change to ON then press   to confirm.

This will switch off the heating pump and the mixer is left running.  When the room
temperature falls below the Set Room Temperature the ventilation function is
automatically disabled and the heating goes back to normal.  To disable the function
press the

and the following message appears ‘Disable Function Really’. To confirm

press  .
This function is only possible if the room sensor of the TR-CONTROL II Touch has been
enabled.

Notes for CONTROL 702
In setting ‘Individual setting of heating circuits:  Inputing ‘Yes’ – The function is effective
only on the heating circuit, which the TR-CONTROL II Touch has been assigned.
Inputing ‘No’ – The function affects all heating.
