SmartLF Gx Service Manual

Opening Rear Access Panel.

Always disconnect the USB and power cable before carrying out

any work on the scanner.

Remove the 5 x M3 pan head screws that are holding the

panel in place. It is recommended that the central screw is the

last to be removed, and even then it is not full removed until

the access panel is supported.

Supporting the access panel with you hand, fully remove the

last screw and gently lower the panel down. Do not allow this

panel to drop down under it's own weight, as some cables

may be damaged by this action.
