SmartLF Gx Service Manual

Replacing Camera Unit.

The camera unit can be replaced as a whole unit. The camera

board will be fitted to the mirror unit and magnified, focused and

aligned, so all the needs to happen is the unit is bolted on the

underside of the chassis and an auto stitch procedure is carried out.

NOTE: Do NOT attempt to try to repair the camera board from the

unit.

Open the rear access panel as described in chapter 5.3

"Opening Rear Access Panel" page 9.

Remove rear panel as described in chapter 5.4 "Remove Rear

Panel" page 10.

Remove the extrusion covers as in chapter 5.8 "Removing

Extrusion Covers" page 20.

Slide the locking plate and remove the camera cable from the

camera unit that requires changing.
