c. Loosen the screws available on the other side of the Encoder Scale to remove it, as shown below:

d. Gently remove the Encoder Scale.
e. Measure the Encoder Scale length and cut it as per the requirements.
f. Replace the scale by reversely following all the above given steps.
Case 5 : Check and replace Encoder Sensor
Procedure:
Steps to replace the Encoder Sensor:
a. Disconnect the ink pipes from the Y connectors, as shown below:

b. Loosen both screws on the Pipe Separator unit (Refer to above Image) and remove it.
c. Remove the Pipe Separator unit and you can see sensor mounting bracket.
d. Loosen both screws on the Encoder Sensor mounting bracket, as shown below:
