10. Head Installation
Use this section, if print head is not installed in the printer.
The installation of print heads is done only by a service engineer. If the print head is not installed correctly, it can
affect the printing quality and damage the critical parts of the printer during printing.
Note: Don’t apply much pressure on print head while installing it.
Follow these steps to install the print head:
Step A: Keep Ready the Head Fixing Screws
Note : Use the screw driver provided with the printer.
Step B: Loose the Head Aligning Plates Screws.
Step C: Insert Head Cables in the Head Connector before placing the print head on the head plate.
There are two head cables which you need to insert in the head connector one by one, as shown below:

Note : Gently insert the cables’ terminal pins in the print head so that it can’t damage the contact leads. Further,
take great care about the head cable’s orientation as it must match with the contact lead to avoid risk situation.
