13. Advanced Operations
In this section, several advanced options viz. Quality, Head Parameter, Disable Head, and Language are discussed
to improve the printing quality and head firing parameter of the machine.
Note : Head Parameter and Disable Head options are only used by the service engineer.
Quality
The Quality option is used for enhancing the printing quality and controlling some additional features of the
printer. On selecting the Quality option from the menu list, the following screen appears as shown below:

The description of some options related to the quality is given as follows:
•
Step Before Print : Media moves forward before start printing.
•
Flash Before Print : Head flushes its nozzles before printing.
•
Lack Media Detection : Detect media presence and mounted at rear.
•
Cover Protect : Detect the front glass door, if closed or opened.
On selecting the Feather Type option, the follow screen appears, as shown below:

Note : Prefer to select the Gradient option for enhancing the printing quality.
