Cisco IOS Voice Gateway

The following prerequisites pertain specifically to the configuration of MGCP Gateway Support on a
Cisco IOS voice gateway:

•

Cisco IOS Release 12.4(20)YA or a later release.

•

Transcoder and MTP services must be configured on the voice gateway. See

“Configuring Enhanced

Conferencing and Transcoding for Voice Gateway Routers” on page 67

.

•

SCCP must be enabled on the local interface that the voice gateway uses to register with
Cisco Unified Communications Manager. See the
