3. The radio will automatically
search the band and store the
six radio stations with the
strongest reception on preset
buttons
1
through
6
in the
selected autostore band (FM-A
or AM-A).
As a station is stored, its
frequency will temporarily
flash on the display.
4. Once the stations are stored,
the radio will switch to FM-A
and the first preset station will
begin to play.
FM-A will appear on the
display when you are listening
to the autostore stations.
Press AM or FM to cancel this
feature.
Cassette Tape Player
Insert the cassette with the tape
visible to the right.
LOAD will appear on the display.
PLAY will appear when a tape is
active.
Press
AM or FM to stop
playing a cassette and switch to
the radio.
Fast Forwarding
Press the up arrow on the TUNE
switch to move quickly ahead to
another part of the tape.
FF will appear on the display.
Rewinding
Press the down arrow on the
TUNE switch to move quickly
back to another part of the tape.
REW will appear on the display.
Seeking
Press the up arrow on the SEEK
switch to move quickly to the
beginning of the next selection.
A-FF will appear on the display.
Press the down arrow on the SEEK
switch to move quickly to the
beginning of the current selection.
A-REW will appear on the display.
Cassette Tape: Switching Sides
When listening to a cassette tape,
press TAPE to switch to the
other side.

To reduce background noise on
Dolby encoded tapes, press
(push-button 1 ).

Tape Eject Button
Press (located next to the
cassette tape slot) to eject the
tape.
AF (area frequency) Code
If battery power is interrupted, you
will need to enter a code into the
audio system to select the proper
radio frequency intervals for your
region.
Use the following chart to select
the appropriate code for your
region:
Region Code
Europe 2
Latin America 3
Middle East 4
Oceania 4
To enter the AF code:
1. Turn the audio system on.
AF- will appear on the display.
2. Enter the AF (area frequency)
code into the unit using the
preset buttons.
The preset FM radio frequency
will appear on the display.
