7.5 Circuit Board Removal and Replacement (Cont.)
Refer to the General Notes on page 70 before proceeding with the instructions below.
WARNING:
When working on the dishwasher, disconnect the electrical service and place a red tag
at the disconnect switch to indicate work is being done on that circuit.
7.5.2 Temperature/Pressure Display Board Removal
Refer to the pictures and instructions given below.
To remove the Temperature/Pressure Display Board:
Check and set the program jumpers before you install a replacement board.
1. Turn power off at the dishwasher and the main power disconnect switch.
2. Open the front door.
3. Remove screws located in each corner of the hood.
4. Pull the slide-out control cabinet out fully.
5. Fold back the protective mylar drip shield.
6. Note location, then carefully disconnect display cables and connectors.
7. Remove 6-32 grip nuts retaining the board.
8. Lift the board up at the rear at a slight angle and off the rear mounting studs.
9. Carefully lift the front of the board off the studs and guide the board back
and out until the LED’s clear the control cabinet.
10. Replace the board in reverse order.
11. Make sure the display LED’s are centered in the control cabinet windows.
NOTE:
Plug-ins on circuit boards are marked with
a number “1”. This marking corresponds
with a red line on the connector cable.
Make sure the “1” and the red line
match when reconnecting a cable to
the circuit board.
