SUPPLEMENT

BLEED AIR HEATER KIT

SECTION 1

GENERAL

The installation of a bleed air cabin heater will assist the exhaust heat

exchanger in cabin heating for extremely cold conditions. Compressor

discharge air which is taken from a fitting on the compressor scroll is

routed through a manually operated shut-off valve to an infuser that

mixes the bleed air with fresh air and exhaust heater air. To provide this

capability, the following items are installed:

1. Compressor discharge fittings, lines and shut-off valve

assembly.

2. Bleed air heater infuser system.

3. Fresh air inlet shunt and ducting.

SECTION 2

LIMITATIONS

Due to the possible damage if the windshield, the maximum OAT for

bleed air operation is +50°F (10°C)
