CENTER PANEL LAYOUT

The center panel contains the various avionics equipment

arranged in a vertical rack. This arrangement allows each

component to be removed without having to access the backside

of the panel. Below the panel are the power, and propeller

controls.

The center pedestal, located below the center panel, contains the

elevator and rudder trim control wheels and position indicators,

and provides a bracket for the microphone. The engine fuel shut-

off and the engine anti-ice controls are located here. The fuel

selector valve handle is located at the base of the pedestal.

Complete New Section

The SOLOY TURBINE PAC powerplant consists of a lightweight

ROLLS ROYCE Model 250-C20S turboshaft engine and a SOLOY

propeller reduction gearbox. The engine utilizes two independent

turbine sections; one driving a compressor in the gas generator

section, and the second driving a reduction gearing for the Turbine Pac

driveshaft that is further reduced by the SOLOY reduction gearing for

the propeller.
