SOLOY TURBINE PAC
SECTION 7
POHS CESSNA T206H/206H
AIRPLANE & SYSTEMS
DESCRIPTION
7-17
F.A.A. Approved
May 23, 2003
6. Emergency
A. In case of an electrical power failure in flight, the
instrument will cease to function. After restoring the power,
the lower window will resume accurate fuel flow reading, but
the Time Remaining, Lb. Used and Lb. Remaining figures
will not be accurate unless the duration of the power failure
is know and the consumption during the power failure is
recalculated and subtracted from the Lb. Remaining.
NOTE
Flight planning and fuel loading is
facilitated by the use of fuel quantity
indicators that have been coordinated
with the unusable fuel supply. It is the
pilot’s responsibility to ascertain that the
fuel quantity indicators are functioning
and maintaining a reasonable degree of
accuracy, and be certain of ample fuel
for a flight. An inaccurate indicator
could give an erroneous indication of
fuel quantity. If you as the pilot are not
sure that at least five and one-half
gallons usable are in each wing system,
add necessary fuel so that the amount
of fuel will not be less than five and one-
half gallons usable per wing system at
takeoff. Plan for an ample margin of
fuel for any flight.
