Commissioning machine
Following commissioning, the operating personnel are instructed in the use of the machine
by the operator and are then authorised to switch on the machine.
Prerequisite:
•
All instructions on commissioning have been checked and carried out (see Page 74:
Notes on commissioning machine).

The blade guard has been fitted (see Page 69: Retrofitting > Fitting blade guard).
•
All protective covers have been fitted (see Page 116: Maintenance, repair and shut-
down > Fitting and removing protective covers).
•
Please use your personal protective equipment: Ear protection, light breathing
protection, protective glasses, protective gloves, safety shoes
WARNING
Hazard due to noise.
Due to noise emissions, there is a danger of hearing damage, reduced concentration and
equilibrium disturbances during operation.
Always wear suitable personal protective equipment:
- Hearing protection
WARNING
Danger from hand-arm vibrations.
Hand-arm vibrations can endanger health and safety and impair performance and well-
being if the vibrations are strong or the exposure is of excessive duration and frequency.
Operate the machine according to the operator’s time management.
WARNING
Danger from whole-body vibrations.
Whole-body vibrations can endanger safety and health, impair performance and well-
being and cause strain on the spine if the vibrations are strong or the exposures are of too
long duration and frequency.
Operate the machine according to the operator’s time management.
WARNING
Danger from inhalation of dust, eye contact with dust.
Inhalation of large quantities of dust can cause damage to the lungs and airways. There is
a risk of breathing difficulties. In addition, the dust can also settle in the eyes, which can have
a negative effect on vision and cause an infection.
Always wear suitable personal protective equipment:
- Light breathing protection
- Safety goggles
