9.3 Fitting and removing protective covers
9.3.1
Fitting and removing side panels
The left and right side panels are fitted and removed according to the same principle. In the
following sequence of action, the removing of the left side panel is described as an example.
9.3.1.1
Removing side panels
Prerequisite:

The machine is switched off and secured against accidental switch-on.
Required:
•
Cladding key
CAUTION
Danger of injury due to hot surfaces.
Due to the process, the surfaces in the area of the motor and the diamond saw blade heat up.
There is a risk of burns on skin contact.
Use your personal protective equipment when working in the area of hot surfaces:
- Safety gloves
- Long-sleeve protective clothing
Carry out the following steps:
1.
Open the three sealing screw plugs of the

cladding

with the
‹
cladding
key
›
.
2.
Carefully remove the
‹
rear
cladding
›
from the machine.

Store the
‹
rear
cladding
›
in a suitable location.
