Notes on commissioning machine
The following principles apply for commissioning:
•
Only commission the machine with qualified personnel.
•
Only operate the machine with qualified personnel.
•
Make sure that the danger areas are clear when the machine is switched on.
3.1.4
Notes on shutting down machine
The following principles apply for shut-down:
•
Clean the machine of all material residues and dirt.
•
Always secure the machine against unintentional restarting.
3.1.5
Notes on maintenance and repairs
Safety-conscious, foresighted behaviour of the personnel prevents dangerous situations
during maintenance and repair work.
The following principles apply for maintenance and repairs:
•
Set the machine to the “safe Off” state. To do this, actuate the Emergency-Stop switch.
•
Remove the ignition key and keep it with you.
•
Carry out checks of the hydraulic hose connections at regular intervals. Replace defective
parts immediately. Use only original spare parts!
•
Adhere to the prescribed intervals of the service life of hydraulic hoses.
•
Observe the intervals specified in the maintenance schedule.
•
Make sure that maintenance and repair work is only carried out by qualified personnel.
•
Shut down the machine before maintenance and repair work (see Page 108:
Operation > Daily shut-down).
•
Block access for unauthorised persons. If necessary, information signs which draw
attention to the maintenance and repair work being carried out must be set up.
•
Carry out maintenance measures in a suitable room with workshop equipment and
corresponding expert personnel!
•
Carry out maintenance work on level and stable ground.
•
Maintain an adequate amount of working space of at least 80 cm around the machine
clear of all objects when performing maintenance work.
•
When replacing parts, only use lifting gear in the prescribed manner.
•
Make sure that the lifting gear is designed and approved for the respective weight.
•
Never walk under hanging loads!
•
Only use lifting gear in proper condition.
•
Always comply with the accident prevention regulations and local regulations.
