Carrying out cutting process
Prerequisite:
•
The machine is located at the operating site (see Page 88: Moving machine).
•
An approved diamond saw blade has been fitted, (see Page 82: Fitting diamond
saw blade).
•
The machine has been aligned with the cut to be performed (see Page 90: Aligning
machine on cut).
•
The machine is connected to a flushing water supply (see Page 93: Connecting the
flushing water).
•
The blade guard has been fitted (see Page 69: Retrofitting > Fitting blade guard).
•
All protective covers have been installed.
•
The cutting depth setting for the cut to be executed has been carried out (see Page 94:
Setting depth of cut).
•
Please use your personal protective equipment: Ear protection, light breathing
protection, protective glasses, protective gloves, safety shoes
WARNING
Hazard due to noise.
Due to noise emissions, there is a danger of hearing damage, reduced concentration and
equilibrium disturbances during operation.
Always wear suitable personal protective equipment:

Danger from hand-arm vibrations.
Hand-arm vibrations can endanger health and safety and impair performance and well-
being if the vibrations are strong or the exposure is of excessive duration and frequency.
Operate the machine according to the operator’s time management.
