Connecting the Keypad Directly to the VFD —

1. Place the bottom of the VFD keypad into the variable

frequency drive as shown in Fig. 67.

2. Push the top of the VFD keypad into the variable fre-

quency drive as shown in Fig. 68.

Using the Cable to Connect the Keypad to the VFD —

The VFD keypad can be connected to the variable

frequency drive via the cable included with the

Multi--Speed VFD display kit (PN: CRDISKIT002A00).

1. Connect the male end of the cable to the front panel

of the variable frequency drive. Use 2 of the screws

included with the kit to secure the cable to the VFD.

2. Connect the female end of the cable to the back panel

of the VFD Remote keypad. Secure the cable to the

remote keypad using the 2 remaining screws from the

kit.

Program the VFD for 3 Discrete Indoor Fan Speeds

IMPORTANT

: 50LC 07 units are programmed at the

Factory for 3 discrete indoor fan speeds. The
following procedure is only to be used to recover this
function after an event such as a system crash.

NOTE

: This procedure requires use of the VFD Keypad

which is included as part of the field--installed

Multi--Speed VFD display kit (PN: CRDISKIT002A00). If
the VFD keypad is not already installed, install it. See
“Connecting the Keypad to the VFD” for details.

To program the VFD for 3 discreet indoor fan motor

speeds
