PRE-FILTER REPLACEMENT
Verify both station are idle before performing this procedure..
1. Close Incoming Water Line.
2. Open Internal Water Supply Valve.
• Press the SETUP button. Press 43 on the keypad, then press ENTER. This will open the incoming water
supply solenoid vlave providing a water supply to the on-board 0.2 micron filter housing.
NOTE: A counter on the LCD display will begin to count down from 250 to 0 in one second
increments. After 250 seconds, the incoming water supply solenoid valve will automatically
close if not manually closed sooner.
3. Drain Purge Line
• Direct the purge line from the top of the on-board 0.2 micron water filter housing into a container that holds
a minimum of 1 liter of liquid.
•
Slowly open the shut-off valve located on the purge line from the on-board 0.2 nmicron filter housing until
the air is purged from the filter housing and a steady stream of water flows from the purge lines.
• After closing the air bleed valve, tap the purge line to promote the draining of the residual water within the
purge line into the container.
• Remove the container and empty.
• Press the STOP button to close the incoming water supply solenoid valve and then press the STOP button
again to exit the SETUP menu.
4. Replace Pre-filters
• Use the fitler wrench, if necessary, to remove the pre-filter housings.
•
Wearing gloves, remove and discard the filters.
• Clean housings using soap and water and then rinse thoroughly.
•
Replace the corresponding fitler(s).
•
Replace the filter housing. You may need to moisten the O-ring located at the top of the filter housings with a
water-based lubricant. Make sure that the O-ring is at the top and in place in the top of the housing.
•
Hand tighten the filter housings; DO NOT use the filter wrench.
5. Open Incomig Water Line Slowly
6. Open Internal Water Supply Valve
• Follow the instructions in Step 2.
7. Drain Purge Line
• Follow the instructions in Step 3.
8. Check for Leaks
• If a leak is found, close the incoming water supply line and hand-tighten
the housing again.
• Open the water line again and check for leaks.
