You can register/remove cameras, swap connection settings, and initialize camera registration information from the Multi-
Camera Management Application.
For details, refer to the Multi-Camera Management Application’s instruction manual.
Allowing Access for the Multi-Camera Management Application
Perform settings required to control the device from the Multi-Camera Management Application (hereafter referred to as
"application").
• Select a communication protocol that can be used to communicate with the application.
• Select [Off] to disable control from the application
• Set the user name and password of the device. Used when accessing from the application.
For reference: “Inputting Characters” (P. 34).
• Specify a name that can be identified from the application in case multiple devices are on the same network.
Operating the Device Using the Multi-Camera Management
Application
1 S elect the S Y S TEM menu > [Network] tab (P. 66).

S elect [HTTP S ] or [HTTP/ HTTP S ] for [Application Control].

S et [User Name] and [Password].

S et [Controller Name] as necessary.

Import and enable the server certificate when communicating over HTTP S .
6 S elect [Apply].
