• The selected menu appears on the camera image displayed on the external monitor.
• The menu on the camera’s image disappears.
Adjusting the Focus from the LCD Panel
From the device, you can control Face AF/tracking settings, touch focus and move the AF frame.
• CAMERA menu > [Focus] tab > [Frame Display] switches to [On], and superimposing onscreen displays to
the output of the SDI OUT/HDMI OUT terminal is enabled.
Face Detection & Tracking Adjustment
• A face frame is displayed when a face is detected within the camera’s field of view.
• The main subject is determined automatically when multiple faces are detected.
• You can press the / buttons to switch the main subject.
• When [Eye Detection] (P. 73) is set to [On] a frame is displayed on the detected eyes, and you can press the
/ buttons to switch the main eye.
• You can touch a detected face to start tracking. In case [Face Det. & Tracking] is selected, you can touch a
subject to start tracking. Press the F2 dial ([Cancel Tracking]) to cancel tracking.
• Proceed to step 6.
Touch Focus Adjustment (During Manual Focus on a Compatible Camera)
• appears on the touched position and focus is performed.
• Proceed to step 6.
Moving the AF Frame (During Auto Focus)
• An AF frame corresponding to the selected AF frame size is displayed.
• Focus is performed on the subject in the AF frame.
• CAMERA menu > [Focus] tab > [Frame Display] switches to [Off], and superimposing onscreen displays to
the output of the SDI OUT/HDMI OUT terminal is disabled.
• You will return to the previous menu level.

S elect [Camera MENU] > the desired menu.
6 S elect the [ ], [ ], [ ], [ ], [ S ET] or [CANCEL] buttons (in the [Camera Control] tab) to operate the camera’s
menu.
7 When menu settings are finished, select [Camera MENU] > [Off].

Press the F2 dial ([Focus ]).

Turn the F2 dial ([Face AF]) to select [Face Det. & Tracking] or [Face Only].

Touch a subject on the screen.

Turn the F2 dial ([Face AF]) and select [Off], then turn the F1 dial ([AF Frame S ize]) and select and option other
than [Whole Area].

Touch the screen to move the AF frame.

Press the F4 dial ([Back]).
