7. Installing the Heater

Install the heater by reversing the steps used

to remove it with the following in mind:

Do not touch the surface of the heater.

For both heaters, install them so that the side
with the longer heater harness is toward the
front.

Install the longer heater to the right and the
shorter heater to the left while viewing from the
front of the fixing assembly.

8. Removing the Upper Roller

1) Remove the fixing assembly from the copier.

(p. 4-84)

2) Remove the mounting screw, and remove the

fixing assembly upper cover.

3) Remove the two screws

used to keep the

cleaning belt unit in place to release the clean-
ing belt.

at the rear of the

upper roller, and remove the gear
