F. Drum Motor/Pick-Up Motor/

Fixing Motor Control Circuit

1. Outline

The NP6085 derives its drive from the follow-

ing three motors:

Table 3-101

Figure 3-120 is a block diagram showing the

control circuit of each motor, and the circuits have
the following functions for their respective motors:

Turns ON/OFF the motor.

Switches the speed of the motor.

Controls the motor to a specific speed.
Each motor is a DC motor with a built-in clock

pulse generator, generating clock pulses
(DMCLK/PMCLK/FMCLK) according to the revo-
lution of the motor.

Each motor controller PCB on the other hand

uses these clock pulses to stabilize the speed of
the motor.

The clock pulses (DMCLK/PMCLK/FMCLK) is

frequency divided to 1/4 and are sent to the DC con-
troller PCB as clock pulses (DMFG/PMFG/FMPL)
for sequence control.
