4. Sequence of Scanner Movement
The distance over which the scanner moves
forward is determined by the microprocessor
based on the selected copy size and the selected
copying mode.
The microprocessor computes the size of the
original that can be copied on the selected copy
paper based on the selected reproduction ratio to
determine the distance over which the scanner is
moved.
