Continuous paper is set to the C.F.F., and the

copier’s Copy Start key is pressed.

1 The Copy Start key (copier) is pressed. (Figure

3-805)

2 The stepping motor (C.F.F. motor PM1) rotates

clockwise to move the continuous paper in
normal direction. (Figure 3-806)

3 The original sensor (PI1) detects the continu-

ous paper, and the C.F.F. motor (PM1) rotates
counterclockwise so that the paper stops
where it does not cover the C.F.F.’s white plate.
