3. Installing the Cleaning Blade

Install the cleaning blade by reversing the

steps used to remove it with the following in mind.
(Be sure to fix the cleaning blade in place while
butting it against the rear.)
1) Check to make sure that there is no gap on

both ends of the cleaning blade, and push the
center of the blade with a finger.

2) Check to make sure that numbers are in view

at the end of the blade, and tighten the screws
in the order indicated.

3) After installing the cleaning blade, check to

make sure that its edge is not conspicuously
wavy. (Such will occur if toner or foreign matter
exists in the groove of the blade support plate;
clean the groove in advance of installing the
blade.)
