Press to select or cancel the Two-sided mode.
You can copy one-sided/ two-sided originals
and facing pages of an original, such as
books, on both the front and back sides of the
paper, and make one-sided copies from two-
sided originals. (See “Two-sided Copying (Two-
sided Mode),” on p. 2-38.)
• When you select the [1 2-Sided] key.

Press the [Light] or [Dark] key to manually con-
trol the copy exposure. Press the [A] key to se-
lect or cancel Auto Exposure Control. (See
“Adjusting Exposure and Image Quality (Copy Ex-
posure),” on p. 2-32.)
