Notes on the Edge Enhancement Process and DEP

When the parameters of the edge enhancement process or DEP are set to excessively high values, artifacts
may occur and the useful information in the image may be degraded.
If you think the image looks as if it has been over-processed, set the parameters to lower values, or void
the process.
