Troubleshooting

This section describes how to troubleshoot problems when the printer is not operating correctly.

If you cannot solve the problem by following these troubleshooting procedures, please contact
the dealer where you purchased the printer or the nearest service center.

Error or Warning Messages

The Status Monitor will display a warning or error message when a problem occurs in the
printer while it is idle or during a print job.

The Status Monitor will not only display the message, but will also open a window to provide
more detailed information about the error and offer some suggestions for troubleshooting the
problem.
