Other Important Information

7.1

Moving the Printer

Be sure to follow the correct procedure below when you move the printer to another location.

Make sure that the main power switch is at the on position (|).

If it is off, switch the main power switch to on.

Open the feeder cover.

The feeder lift tray lowers automatically. Wait till it stops.

Remove the paper from the feeder lift tray, then close the feeder cover.

Press the

STANDBY button on the operation panel to switch the

STANDBY

lamp off and put the printer in the sleep mode.

Press main power switch to the off position (O).

Disconnect the power cord and a USB cable, then remove the stacker.

●

Never touch the feeder lift tray while it is moving, and never place your hand under
the tray. This could damage the printer or cause personal injury.

●

Before you switch the printer off completely, always press the

STANDBY button

to put the printer in the sleep mode, then press the main power switch.
