Unit Information
group box fields:

Serial No:
A unique serial number assigned by AI for identification purposes. The Bullhorn
website refers to the serial number as
Unit ID Number
.

Controller Rev:
The version number of the firmware on the controller board of the
Bullhorn unit. The version number is assigned by AI.

Radio Version:
This field does not apply to digital cellular or satellite units, as indicated by
the abbreviation

(not applicable/not available) shown in the previous window. This
field applies only to analog cellular units; it identifies the version number of the analog
cellular radio.

IMEI and SIM:
Only applies to the SDT16-GSM digital cellular unit. The IMEI
(International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique, identification number assigned to
the digital cellular radio by the manufacturer of the radio. The SIM (Subscriber Identity
Module) is a unique identification number assigned to the digital cellular radio by the
service provider. The service provider uses the SIM to identify the radio on the digital
cellular network. SIM is also referred to as
SIM card
and is a small electronic device that is
factory-installed inside the digital cellular radio.

Radio ISN and Unit ISN:
Only apply to satellite units that use the SkyWave-Inmarsat satellite
network for communications (SDT16-SAT). Radio ISN (identification serial number)
refers to the satellite terminal, and Unit ISN refers to the Bullhorn unit. The satellite
terminal and Bullhorn unit ship from the factory as a matching pair and are assigned the
same ISN by AI for identification purposes.
