Downloading and Installing the UCT Software
If you have a previous version of the Universal Configuration Toolkit (UCT) software installed on
your computer, review the following information prior to installing a new version of the software:

Everyone Installation Option:
If you installed a previous version of the UCT software using
the
Everyone
option, the previous version must first be uninstalled prior to installing the
new version of UCT software. Refer to Figure 1-7 on page 15 for an example.

Just Me Installation Option:
If you installed a previous version of the UCT software using
the
Just Me
option, it is not necessary to uninstall the previous version prior to installing
the new version of UCT software. Refer to Figure 1-7 on page 15 for an example.
To download and install the UCT software, follow these steps:
1.
If you have a previous version of the UCT software installed on your computer, complete
the following steps to uninstall the software:
a.
Using the Windows Start menu, click
Start
>
Settings
>
Control Panel
to display
Windows Control Panel.
b.
Click
Add or Remove Programs
to display the
Add or Remove Programs
window.
c.
Locate the item labeled
Configuration Toolkit
in the list of programs.
d.
To uninstall the UCT software, click
Configuration Toolkit
and then click
Remove
.
e.
After the UCT software has been uninstalled, click the Windows close icon (X) to exit
the
Add or Remove Programs
window.
2.
Log on to your Bullhorn website account at http://www.bullhornsys.com.
3.
Click
Help
and then
Support Files
.
4.
Click
Support Files for download
and then
Universal Configuration Tool (UCT)
to
download the file.
The file is a compressed ZIP file. To decompress the file and access the installation
software (setup.exe), use WinZip, PKZip, or similar type software.
5.
After
unzipping
the contents of the ZIP file in a folder on your computer, double-click the
setup.exe
file and follow the prompts to install the software.
GSM Digital Cellular Service
The SDT16-GSM transmits data and alarm packets from the field to your website account using
KORE Wireless, digital cellular network services. The KORE Wireless network extends
throughout North America and utilizes the footprint of its operator partners which include
Cingular, T-Mobile, AT&T Wireless, and Microcell.
Before you install the SDT16-GSM in the field, verify digital cellular service is available at the
installation site using coverage maps available on the KORE Wireless website at http://
www.korewireless.com.
