If the installation CD is not loaded in the CD-ROM drive, insert the CD in the CD-ROM
on your computer.

Double-click the
setup.exe
file to begin the installation.

Follow the on-window prompts to install the UCT software.

If you are working with a Bullhorn unit that includes a USB configuration port on the
controller board, continue with the next section to install the USB driver included on the
installation CD. If the Bullhorn unit does not include a USB configuration port, remove the
CD from the CD-ROM drive and store it in a safe place.
Installing the USB Device Driver
If you are working with a Bullhorn unit that includes a USB configuration port on the controller
board, install the USB device driver included on the CD in the installation kit.
The USB device driver only has to be installed once on your computer. After it is installed on your
computer, it will work for any Bullhorn unit that includes a USB configuration port.

MPORTANT
:
In order to install the USB device driver on your computer, you must log on as an
administrator or your computer user name must be a member of the Administrators group. If
needed, contact your network administrator or IT department to determine if your user name is
setup with administrator rights or privileges.
The USB device driver should be installed prior to connecting the Bullhorn unit to your computer.
If the USB device driver is not installed and you connect the Bullhorn unit to the USB port on your
computer, Windows displays the
Found New Hardware
message and icon in the System Tray of
your computer. Windows will then attempt to locate a suitable device driver already installed on
your computer. Exit any open windows and then complete the procedure in this section to install
the USB device driver provided by AI.
Complete the following steps:
1.
If the Bullhorn installation CD is not loaded in the CD-ROM drive on your computer,
insert the CD and then open Windows Explorer to view the contents of the CD.
2.
Double-click the file labeled
CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3_vista.exe
on the CD.
The USB driver is compatible with computers installed with any of the following
Windows
® operating systems: Windows Vista ® , Windows ® XP, and Windows ® 2000.

When the installation window displays, follow the prompts to unpack files in the default
directory labeled
C:\SiLabs\MCU\CP210x
.

After files finish unpacking, use Windows Explorer to navigate to the default directory
C:\SiLabs\MCU\CP210x
.
5.
Double-click the file labeled
CP210xVCPInstaller.exe
to install the USB device driver on
your computer.
