After installing the USB device driver, connect one end of the USB configuration cable in
an available USB port on your computer and the other end of the cable in the USB
configuration port on the Bullhorn unit.
Windows should automatically install the USB device driver when you connect the
Bullhorn unit to your computer. At this point you can disconnect the USB configuration
cable from your computer and the Bullhorn unit and then continue with the next section.
If Windows does not automatically install the USB device driver after connecting the
Bullhorn unit to your computer, continue with step 7 to install the USB device driver when
Windows displays the
Found New Hardware Wizard
window (Figure 1-8).

OTE
:
The battery/power cable does not need to be connected to the Bullhorn unit in
order for Windows to recognize the Bullhorn USB connection. The Bullhorn USB
connection draws power from the USB port on your computer.
