Attach the cover lid to the instrument.

Change the desiccant cartridge. See
Chapter 7.4 "Changing the desiccant

Confirm lamp replacement. See
Chapter 7.2.3 "Confirm Lamp Re-
placement", page 80

Carry out a baseline correction vector
calibration. See Chapter 5.6.3 "Cali-
brating a Baseline Correction Vector
(BCV)", page 24

Changing the up view lamp

Disconnect the power supply to the
instrument.

Wait 15 min. for lamp to cool.

Turn the instrument around.

Make sure that the instrument cannot
tip over during the lamp replacement
procedure.
