Symbol Description
Connector Interface Cable:
Used to connect the Infusion Catheter and Ultrasonic Core to the
Control Unit.
Infusion Catheter:
The device Infusion Catheter connects to the Connector Interface
Cable.
Ultrasonic Core:
The device Ultrasonic Core connects to the Connector Interface Cable.
CE Mark: The equipment confirms to essential requirements of the
Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC , as amended by 2007/47/EC, and
complies with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive
(RoHS) 2011/65/EU.
Authorized representative in the European Community.

Equipment was manufactured during the listed year.
Symbol for Electro-static Discharge (ESD) sensitive equipment:
Equipment is resistant to ESD as required by BS EN 60601-1-2.
However, parts marked with this symbol could be damaged by direct
application of electrical discharge.
The USB port is for use only by, or at the instruction of, authorized
EKOS personnel for downloading procedure log files or uploading new
software. When connecting to this port all personnel should first touch
the metal housing of the Control Unit chassis with their hand to
minimize any potential ESD before plugging in the USB device.
Consult Instructions for Use symbol. It is important that all persons
using the Control Unit read and understand all the information
contained in these instructions prior to use.
