Removing and installing the control power
module

6.5.1
Removing the control power module (CPM)
Prerequisite:
•
Appliance is disconnected from the power supply.
•
Appliance has been removed. (Page 125)
•
Mains cable is unplugged. (Page 161)
•
Cabinet back panel has been removed. (Page 122)
1.
Discharge current of charged capacitors!
Death from electric shock. Risk of injury from startle response.
► Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
► Discharge capacitors.
1) Before removing the CPM, measure the DC voltage at the minus and plus
terminals of the rectifier.
2) If the measured voltage is higher than 34 volt, discharge the capacitor by
short-circuiting the minus-plus terminals on the rectifier.
2. Detach the cable harnesses from the cable guides.
3. 1) Remove the grounding screws and securing screw from the mains socket.
2) Hold the cabinet of the CPM and push the CPM up slightly until the module
is released from the cabinet mounts.
4. Remove CPM.

Installing the control power module (CPM)
1. Unplug and plug in the cables 1:1.
2. Install the CPM in reverse sequence.
