5.26.1
Checking the vapour valve motor
Prerequisite:
•
Appliance is disconnected from the power supply.
•
Appliance has been removed. (Page 125)
•
Upper section of the housing has been removed. (Page 121)
•
Vapour valve motor has been removed. (Page 181)
1. Activate the microswitch (closer) and take a measurement: S28.1 - S28.2
Result:
0 Ω = closed
∞ Ω = open
2. Measure the motor winding: M11.1 - M11.2
Result:
10 kΩ ± 10 % = OK
5.26.2
Checking the vapour valve
Prerequisite:
•
Appliance is disconnected from the power supply.
•
Appliance has been removed. (Page 125)
•
Upper section of the housing has been removed. (Page 121)
•
Vapour valve motor has been removed. (Page 181)
1.
The vapour valve has been damaged by overextending the screw on
the flap!
► Don’t activate the vapour valve by hand.
Remove the vapour valve.
2. Visually inspect the vapour valve.
Result:
When removed from the appliance the vapour valve should be closed.
Hold the vapour valve horizontally. There may not be any gap between the
vapour valve and the housing.
3. Replace the vapour valve.
4.
Install the vapour valve motor. (Page 181)
5.
Risk of electric shock due to live parts when performing
tests on an energised system!
► For tests on an energised system, use a residual current
circuit breaker.
► Do not touch the housing, frame, components and cables.
When it is first connected to the power supply and when it is
reset, the vapour extraction motor rotates the eccentric in order
to determine its 0° position.
The eccentric then rotates to its 90° position.
The control cam activates the microswitch only at the 0°
position (vapour valve closed).
Connect the appliance to the power supply.
6. Switch on the appliance.
7. Finalise the initial start-up settings.
