6. Replacing Parts

6-1-41. Exhaust Fan

Required Tool

Phillips screwdriver M4

・

Gloves

Disassembling

1.

Turn ON the printer.

2.

Move the Platen at the backmost position with the Platen Button on the Operation Panel.

3.

Turn OFF the printer.

4.

Open the Front Cover UF with both hands until it is locked with the stopper.

Stop Lever

5.

Remove the Cover DR. (Refer to “6-1-2. Assembling/Disassembling of the Covers”.)

6.

Put the gloves on your both hands, and put your left hand from the space before the Timing Belt to reach
the Filter Cover. Lift up the Lock (1) of the Filter Cover by removing the Guide Holes from the projections.
