Opened-up appliance, right-hand version

Air filter
- The air filter filters the airflow from the house.

Soundproofing blocks
- These blocks absorb the noise of the system's ventilator.

Heat exchanger
- In the heat exchanger, the air is either warmed or cooled.

Control panel
- The appliance is operated using the display and the control buttons on the control panel.

Service connection
- Computer connection for the service tool.

System ventilator
- The ventilator transports the air to the various rooms and sucks back the return air.

Air outlet
- The warm/cold air is blown into the air duct through the air outlet.

Discharge temperature sensor
- This sensor measures the air discharge temperature and controls the speed of the system
ventilator.

Condensation discharge
- The condensation that is formed here is discharged only when the appliance is used in
combination with cooling (Ø 15 mm).

Water connection (Supply)
- This connection is only used in order to connect the water supply (Ø 22 mm). See the below
diagram for the water connections of the left-hand version of this appliance.

Water temperature sensor
- This sensor measures the water temperature and starts the ventilator if this is switched off.

Water connection (Return)
- This connection is used to connect the return water pipes (Ø 22 mm). See the below diagram for
the water connections of the left-hand version of this appliance.

Circuit board
- The circuit board contains the control electronics for controlling the appliance.

Connectors
- The connectors are located behind the protective cover and are used as extra control inputs and outputs, for
example for the CO
2
sensor, the 4-position switch and the frost protection.

- When using the appliance in combination with a heat recovery unit.
