Updating Software

The BinTec home page opens. Here you will find the latest software and
documentation for

X3200

.

Click the current system software (boot image, software image) with the
right mouse button, e.g. Boot Image Release 5.5 Rev.1.

➤

In the context menu, click Save link as...

➤

Enter the directory and name under which the new system software should
be saved on your PC. The directory is normally C:\BRICK for Windows PCs
and /tftpboot for Unix workstations. As name, you can use

b5104b02.x1x

,

for example.

➤

Press SAVE.

The system software is saved on your PC.

➤

Activate a TFTP server on your PC.
For a Windows PC: Click the Windows Start menu and then Program

The file <file name> is first transferred to the memory of

X3200

and

checked.
